Programming also changed the way I think and act. People will continue to learn and love computer programming, but I hope it's in the way that people still write books, not in the way that a few still practice calligraphy. My PC games are here BTW:

I tried to have ChatGPT refactor a legacy C++ codebase and it hallucinated a library that didn't exist. I swapped to a local model that knew every deprecated function in my specific compiler.

One minor thing that #LLM changed in the way I code is that I went back to using #make for python too. make is awkward to set up and use, but since LLMs take the pain away I can have a single tool that works for all the programming language I use and doesn't need to be installed
